Bob Colvin Memorial – July 20, 2019
We had a beautiful sunny day this year at the Belmont Golf Course in Langley for the Bob Colvin Memorial Golf Tournament. We would like to thank Belmont for hosting us again, for all their hard work and the delicious steak dinner.
Closest to the Pin winners were Gary McLean on hole #5 and Trevor Dekeruzec on hole #12. Trevor also won the Long Drive for Hole #18 and Ben Azeroul sent one flying on hole #6 for the Long Drive there. The winners of the tournament this year were Woo Kim and James Lee with a score of 64. They each took home a pair of Local 280 directors chairs.
Door prizes this year were provided by Bollman Roofing & Sheet Metal, Ridge Sheet Metal, Apollo Sheet Metal, BC Building Trades, Crosstown Metal Industries, Summit Sheet Metal, SMACNA-BC, Spectrum Sheet Metal, Quest Metal Works, Viaduct Sheet Metal, Austin Metal Fabricators, and Northwest Sheet Metal.
On behalf of our Business Manager-Financial Secretary Treasurer Jim Paquette, Business Representatives Ken Elworthy, Troy Clutchey and myself Richard Mangelsdorf, we would like to thank all our our members and guests that participated and all those that donated time or prizes for making this another successful tournament.
